Welsch, Lynn B. Start of Silver Fire 26" w x 50" h 2021. All Rights Reserved |
A lightning strike started the June 2013 Silver Fire in the Black Range.
The view is from our backyard in Mimbres, NM. The fire quickly made its own weather and burned 138,698 acres. The monsoon rains finally extinguished the fire.
