Art Quilts of Prior Years

This post contains typical examples of my art quilts from prior years.

Welsch, Lynn B. Hiking McKnight Mountain. Quilt. 18" h x 12" w. 2011. All rights reserved.
The Silver City Fiber Arts Festival sponsored a miniature quilt theme challenge called "The Journey is the Reward." Based on a photo taken while hiking through this aspen grove one May, this quilt reflects that in hiking, as in life, it's as much as about the journey as it is about arriving at your destination.

Exhibited at the Invitational Miniature Quilt show at the Silver City Fiber Arts Festival, Silver City, NM, November, 2011. The quilt was awarded the Viewers Choice Ribbon.
