 Monhegan Island is one of my favorite places to visit, 11 miles off the coast of Maine. I took the photo for this quilt from Manana Island.

Monhegan Island Village was exhibited at the SAQA New Mexico Special Exhibit Out of the Blue at the Santa Fe Capital Rotunda Gallery April - August, 2019.

 I love visiting family and friends in Maine in the summer. I took the photo that this quilt is based on while hiking with college friends on the islands off the coast of Deer Isle, Maine.

 Juried into the Houston International Quilt Show in November 2018.

 Exhibited at the Albuquerque Fiber Arts Fiesta 2019.

My inspiration for this abstract art quilt came from a Google Earth photo of the Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, where thousands of Sandhill Cranes, Canadian Snow Geese, and many other birds and ducks spend the winter.

 Inspiration for this piece came from a combination of a scene I photographed in a western national park and the amazing sunsets and sunrises I view here in New Mexico.

 Juried into the "Under the Western Sun" show. It was exhibited at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden, CO April - July, 2017.
